Craving a cup of coffee? May we suggest you pick up a bag of the Gator Blend, the GA x Coffee for Good collab. Located just down the street from GA on the campus of Second Congregational Church, Coffee for Good (CFG) was established as a training platform for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is popular for its premium coffees, teas, and pastries. When the CFG team approached GA’s Upper School Community Engagement Board about developing a GA-blend, it was a no-brainer. Through the course of the school year, the board met with CFG’s executive director Deb Rogan, developed the artwork for the label, and visited their roasting facility in Port Chester to taste-test and select the blend that best captured the spirit of GA. The Gator Blend became available for retail purchase last spring and was served at our Annual Fund party in May to rave reviews. Now you can sip a great cup of coffee while supporting a meaningful cause and enjoy the entrepreneurial efforts of our students. Talk about multitasking!
